How to Reach Wadi Rum: Welcome

HOW TO REACH TO WADI RUM PROTECTED AREA

PETRA/WADI MUSA TO WADI RUM

BUS TIMETABLE - Petra/Wadi Musa to Wadi Rum is a very popular route. There is a bus departing daily at 6 – 6:30 AM. It cost 7-10 JOD daily.

TAXI SERVICE

The fare will cost between 35 - 40 JOD per taxi

DURATION - 2 Hour

AQABA TO WADI RUM

BUS TIMETABLE - Get into Jett bus office in Aqaba and ask for a one-way ticket. Return ticket cost 18 JOD; a one-way ticket should be around 10 JOD

Second option, a local bus from Aqaba Bus Station to Wadi Rum cost 3 JOD, running one time daily, 1 pm

TAXI SERVICE

Aqaba City - Wadi Rum: 30 JD per taxi

Aqaba Border Crossing or Airport -  Wadi Rum: 40 JD per taxi

DURATION - 1 Hour

AMMAN TO WADI RUM

BUS TIMETABLE - There is no bus route from Amman to Wadi Rum. What you can do is get a bus to Aqaba or Petra first and go to Wadi Rum from there. The tourist bus company in Jordan is Jett Bus, kindly take note these option would required you to overnight since the bus is limited

TAXI SERVICE

The fare would cost around 110 JOD per taxi

GETTING A RENTAL CAR OR TAXI

​You can rent a car from the airport or in the city of either Aqaba or Amman and drive yourself to Wadi Rum or anywhere else. This is another popular and cheap option for traveling around Jordan. We have a trusted car rental company where you can book directly as link below.

For our guests, we offer to arrange their taxi transfer to and from Wadi Rum. We work together with a group of independent drivers. And we don’t take a commission from them or add a percentage to their prices. We offer the service of arranging transfers to make things easy for you, and we do this for free.
